Barista Kids, a local parenting website with more than 1,000 hits a day, is searching for an outgoing intern to serve as editorial assistant. Intern will be responsible for updating the events listings online; will write the weekly events post and may then pitch ideas for posts for the page. Great opportunity to learn the blogging format. Must be proficient on a computer, know a little bit about CMS and be organized and detail oriented. Must be able to commit to at least 4 months of work. Required work will take 2 to 3 hours a week on your own time. Unpaid but chance to work with seasoned, longtime journalist and get a recommendation if desired.
