Peter Prichard, MEWSie career counselor extraordinaire, will teach the next MEWS Master Class, next Wednesday February 10th at 7 pm in the Rotunda Room at the Unitarian Church on Church St. in Montclair.  The topic: How To Make Rejection Work For You.

Peter’s description of the class: We work in a profession where the possibility of rejection is significantly higher than in almost any other.  The rejection is also much more personal, since the writing we do can take years out of our lives, only to be dismissed by silence or a cryptic sentence or two.  And yet some handle the rejection much more effectively than others.  Fellow MEWSIE Peter Prichard, who has helped thousands deal with the rejection of employment termination and personal insult, will lead you through a program for dealing more effectively with rejection than you might have in the past.  You will come out of this program with a personalized plan for handling rejection in a way that allows you to move ahead with energy and confidence.

The workshop is limited to 20 MEWS Members; RSVP to me at pam@mewsie.org.  While the class is free, we ask for a donation to the church as thanks for letting us use their beautiful room.  Please note that parking is challenging in the area.  You can park in the garage behind church street, in the $5 lot next to the church, or up the hill (across Orange Road) on Hillside or Myrtle Avenue.
